      At Morelli Meats, great beef starts with great stewardship. We raise cattle on Oregon rangeland using thoughtful grazing that builds soil, respects the animals, and keeps the land thriving for the next generation.

      • What’s a beef share?

        A quarter, half, or whole animal — processed at one time and divided into individual cuts, roasts, and ground beef.

      • What kind of beef do you raise?

        100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef, raised in Central Oregon using regenerative grazing practices and processed at a USDA-inspected facility.

      • Why grass-finished instead of grain-finished?

        Grass finishing supports animal health, soil recovery, and nutrient-dense beef — and works best when cattle are harvested seasonally.

      • What cuts will I get?

        A balanced mix of ground beef, roasts, and steaks. Cuts vary slightly by animal and share size.

      • Why not sell single packages?

        Because selling beef in shares is the most efficient and honest way to raise 100% grass-finished beef without waste or shortcuts.

      • Is buying in bulk more expensive?

        No. Buying a share usually lowers the per-pound cost and keeps your freezer stocked for months.

      • Where else is your beef available?

        Currently, we have a small seasonal selection available at Maupin Market and just started supplying a local Maupin restaurant, The Oasis.

      • How do I get started?

        Check current availability or reach out with questions — we’re happy to help first-time buyers.

      • Is this right for everyone?

        No. If you want single packages shipped to your door, this may not be the right fit. If you value transparency and stewardship, it probably is.

      • Why buy directly from a ranch?

        Direct sales keep ranching viable and let you know exactly where your beef comes from.

      • Where is your farm located?

        Our farm is located just outside of Maupin, Oregon. In the shadow of Mount Hood, about 2 hours north of Bend and 2 hours east of Portland.
